Dennis Giangreco Westport Trucker Collection

The Dennis Giangreco Westport Trucker Collection includes a comprehensive run of the underground newspaper The Westport Trucker, published in Kansas City from 1970 to 1976. The Westport Trucker was a voice for local counterculture, social activism and commentary, rock music reviews, advertisements for local concerts, festivals, and other events at Cowtown Ballroom, Freedom Palace, and Volker (Theis) Park, among others.

Baron Missakian Collection

The Missakian Collection was donated by Nadine Missakian, widow of Baron Siroon Missakian. This collection serves as historical documentation of Laugh-O-Gram Films, a production company established by Walt Disney, a friend of Missakian's whose office was located across the hall in the same building. Disney's personal secretary was Nadine, who later married Baron Missakian.
